I know there are several threads about this but I need something, I got the micro sd card. And I want to add music to it. I formated the card, pop the card into my computer and I see the folders. Now my questions are 1. what folder do i put the songs into? 2. what format does the song have to be in.

There's a folder called SHARED, then under that you want the AUDIO folder. You need the music to be MP3. So just drag MP3 music files to the AUDIO folder, pop the microSD card back in the phone and they'll be there to play under the AUDIO icon found in the MEDIA GALLERY... :)

Make sure that the file names are not too long for the phone to recognize. Keep testing different folders to make sure you have it in the right one....

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Yea I did that, I was successful putting a song on the card, and moving to my phone for a ringtone, but when I attempted to do it again, there is nothing on the card

Not sure what's going wrong there. Anytime you see an option choice with a "choose storage device" -make sure the microSD (Trans flash) card is checked.

Yes you can do that but you need to convert it to a 3GPP2 format. You can do this with a site called http://heywatch.com/page/home

    With Alltel Since 1998
