Hey Everyone, I have a RAZR V3M in Silver, and I HATE the color, but online they only have the razr v3m in silver and pink. But if you go here:http://support.vzw.com/phones/index.html?m=5 They say they have it in gray!?

How would I go about getting this phone in gray rather than silver? I don't even see it listed on the motorola website to buy from them:( !

I was on the Motorola site last night and I saw it. The gray one is the "Miami Ink" phone, with a tattoo design on it.

I haven't been able to confirm this on the Motorola website, but from what I have heard on this and other forums that the grey one is a CDMA V3m.

Can You please give me a link to the motorola page where I can buy it then? It's for Verizon Wireless, and I know they had it when they first got the v3m.

I appreciate all of your answers everyone!

I could not find it in the online Motorola Store, I just saw that pic in my post below on a page that told of the many colors the RAZR was available in.

I found the gray V3's on the TMO site today, so they are GSM models, not CDMA. They're $89.99 w/ a 2 year contract.

I saw a grey one at Wal-Mart. I don't know what carrier it was for though.

The V3c was grey, the V3m is silver or red for CDMA.

The V3t is grey for GSM and only for T-Mobile, right now, AFAIK. Then there is the aforementioned dragon RAZR, which I like to call "Trogdor"

I thought the dragon grey was the only grey GSM model.

Nope, there's also the pearl grey V3 and the V3t which is sort of a shiny gun metal grey.

I really wish they would stop spray painting the 2.5G V3 and concentrate on getting the 3G UMTS phones to the US market.

That's why I went with a PEBL on my upgrade, not a lot of people have them... well, that and the fact that I already have a RAZR.

Still, you can't fault Motorola for doing this. They did it with the v60, StarTAC and Timeport series of phones. Why mess with sucess? It keeps people happy and costs low.

I saw that page you mentioned when choosing a phone for device support, and I freaked OUT because I had JUST bought my v3m in silver but really wanted pearl grey! I'm almost glad I couldn't find it on the verizon website cause I would have been so mad that I missed it! Still, I love the grey and I really wish they'd have come out with the v3m in that color that's fully available to all verizon customers, not just random ebay auctions and possibly finding it somewhere in a store.

Oh, and why does it matter what color v3m you have when going to device support? (Rhetorical question)

In case you need to return the phone for warranty service, That's really the only reason.
