Razr V3 keyboard light

    I apologise if this has been asked before.

    Have a sight problem and was wondering if there is a way to get the keypad light to stay on longer than the factory settings.

    Don't think so. Try under the "settings and tools" menu, then go to "initial setup" or "display." If it's not there, I doubt you can alter it :(

    I realize this is an old thread but may still help folks. The razr has an ambient light sensor located in the center of the main phone body on top close to the hinge. If it senses enough light it turns the backlight of the keyboard off. If you desire it to work simply hold your thumb of the hand you hold your phone with to type over the slot directly under the hinge and your keyboard will stay lit.

    I did this for one of my friends a while back, covered the sensor with silver paint, (cell was silver color) and it did the trick, he had a new problem after that though, battery wouldn't last too long. :eek:
