Oh you meant Tony's avatar not his signature. Yeah I guess most of us like to have pictures of our phones (past, present, or future) as our avatars. Too bad the Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, LG etc don't see it as ads like you do, and give us free cell phones.

As the originator of this thread, it was relegated to just the silver and black versions because that was all that existed in April 2005 when this thread began (8 months before the pink, magenta, blue, purple, green, yellow, and burnt sienna versions came out...). So which ever RAZR color you prefer, don't prefer, or hate with a passion, enjoy!!
if i havent said it a million times ill say it again i LOVE LOVE LOVE T-mobiles magenta... although i have been told by a LOT of ppl "My god that is the gaudiest thing ever" (those were mostly guys) girls seem to love it too. Just returned it for Verizons pink... which isnt quite as cute... color wise, but has a pink keypad (cute) and if and when somebody makes that "classic mustang" red i will snatch that up so quick oh sorry... black or silver... probably black :O
!!! LB!!! Your back!!! It's good to see you around these parts!!! you need to participate young-ish Man!!!:browani: Sorry for the Thread-Jack!!! When will we see faceplates for the V3c???
Yeah, there just aren't enough hours in the day...Been really busy, overwhelmed a little, but then again, that's life..:bomb: Nice to see the RAZR is as popular as ever, colors and all.
I vote for Black, maybe becuase it is what I have . Actually have not seen any other colors "live" other than silver or black. So the jury is still out on those.
I have a question about the silver Razr, I didn't want to start a new thread on it I hope it's okay to post it here: I had looked at the Razr when it first came out 1+ years back, the metal casing felt much more sturdy & durable than the recent silver Razr. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my imagination?...::O
Actually I quite like the build quality of the RAZR and to tell you the truth after my episode with the 6682 and getting a first hand look at the 6102 I am beginning to question Nokia's quality.
Wirelessly posted (Nokia6682/2.0 (3.01.1) SymbianOS/8.0 Series60/2.6 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0) Thanks Joe, but all I was questioning is if anybody noticed a difference in the built quality from the first batch of the silver to the ones available now. Do you notice any difference? Ofcourse it has good built quality, Motos usually do. PS: It's too bad your 6682 didn't work out, even an anti Nokia person would appreciate the quality & features of the 6682 .
Thanks for clearing that up Joe, for some reason I thought that the first batch of Siver Razr (when it was around $450 with a 2 year contract) had either a heavier gauze of metal or more area that was metal, like around the keypad...
Actually last years models of RAZR'S were built from the scrap metal of all the defective 6682's:browani:
Thanks Tony. Joe, you keep that up and the curse of Cingular's Software will forever remain with you....
I don't mean to get off topic but I am still at a slight boiling point about the 6682, and also the fact that Cingular knowing that I sent back the second one they still charged my account for the phone, I think by the time I see the credit it will be about the same time it snows in July.
Black since i now have one.. hehe.. IMO i prefered the black over the silver though when i had to choose, infact it was between the black, silver and pink but the black just looked more classy to me so that's the one i went with! By the way, since i am new to this phone what is the difference between the black razr and the black special edition? And how do i know which one i've got? lol
The special edition version is unbranded and unlocked and comes with Mobile Phone Tools software,OE leather case and it's normally not sold by major carriers only through independent cell phone shops.
