Definitely the black is much much better. The silver is history.

2004 - 2005 models works best as silver. 2006 Verizon model looks awesome in black.

Will Verizon carry both silver and black, or just one of them?

It's what's on the outside that counts. The exterior, the "outer casing" as it were. Purely superficial, but ahhh, that's the way me likes it!!! :p

As of May 27th, Black V3 leads Silver V3 16 to 10. Keep voting!! Will Silver perservere? Or will Black continue to dominate? Tune in next time when.......

Interesting, though, is the decision to call it the "MS500" (or whatever the number is). Why not keep the RAZR name? I don't get the reasoning for this one...

If anybody "in the know" has any info on the naming of the CDMA RAZR, please explain? Very curious...

Last night on the local news, they ran a story about some dumb :censored: paparazzi photographer who intentionally hit Lindsay Lohan's car. She is ok, but they showed footage of her on her cell. I noticed it was a Black RAZR V3! So even celebs like the black V3!! She probably got it from the Oscar Awards goodie bag.

The MS500 is a Korea only phone. Asian phones have different naming conventions than in the US and Europe. For example certain numbers are unlucky in Asian countries and a phone could never be called that. The CDMA RAZR will have the RAZR name in the USA, or a variation of the name. It won't be called MS500.

So far 29 votes total as of 6/19. 18 for the Black V3 and 11 for the Silver. I guess it's safe to say that the Black V3 is the winner of this poll. Unless you thing differently??

Mike meant to ask you, on your "backlight standby time" how many seconds can you set it to?

to be honest I can care less for either color just as long as it works and I didn't have to troubleshoot it to capture vids.

I voted and personally i ima attracted to the Black Razr, one reason being that ALOT of people dont really have it and it is pretty sweet looking. It also comes with a USB cable and pouch when u buy it and i just also happen to be attracted to accessories like that. SO my vote of course goes to the Black Razr. Don't get me wrong, the silver is really nice too, but if you get a phone like the Razr then you might as well get the best (which of course is the Black). I also am attracted to the Motorola V8 :inlove: !!!

Tony, the backlight standby time can be 20, 40, or 60 seconds. Display timeout can be either Off, 1 min, or 2 min. I set mine to 60 secs, and 2 mins respectively. Then the screensaver comes on the inner screen if I keep it open. :)

Thanks Mike, did this come as default or did you seemed edit anything in the software?

Reason i ask is because in a different forum some Black Razr users have been complaining about the settings only having the option to set it to 5-10-20 seconds max, so i'm curious to know if in fact it comes with the 60 second option.

Tony, it came as a default option on mine. I haven't had the courage to attempt to seem edit or flex anything on it. The one thing I'm not sure is if it depends on the "version" people get. I think mine is a U.K. version. Others might have a German, or French version. I know the V635 is slightly different depending on the version people get. :)

Ok that makes sense... i don't blame you, if it's not needed why change it with seem editing and run the risk of deleting something you didn't mean to..

    Thanks for your feedback Mike.
