1. Is the phone case made of metal or plastic in the CDMA version? 2. Does Motorola or anyone else make a holster that allows the outside display to face towards the body and not out? ( Like the old StarTac? ) I saw a women today with a Cingular Razr in a holster, display in...... 3. How's the reception? The comments in our forum seem to be all over in terms of liking the phone or not...... Thanks. Mark
Mark these are some very good questions some that I would like to know myself just be patient and your answer will come soon. I know that there are a few people here with the phone. Also would you be able to go to a Verizon store to see the phone in person I think that would be a good option for you.
1. I believe the outside is metal and inside plastic. Feels very solid. 2. I tried a Cingular Razr earlier and one of their Kiosks had a plastic belt clip that held the back facing out. It works on the V3c as well (though I'm using the Vzw clip and like it better). 3. The reception and voice quality are fine so far. I think the 815 may be a little stronger but not likely a significant difference (and that's just an opinion not based on any hard evidence).
Razr text messages don't show sent time (Verizon) I just got the Motorola Razr v3 and have Verizon as a service provider. If my phone is turned off and I receive a text message, the txt message shows the time when I turn on my phone instead of the time when it was actually sent. All of my previous phones showed the actual time the text message was sent by the sender. Is there a way to fix this? Another issue is there is no way to scroll through text messages once you open one. On my prior phones you could scroll through the messages in your inbox without backing out of each message. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hi all Complete mobile phone amateur, just been given the motorola razr v3. Most of the set up went ok, but one stupid question from a stupid blonde, I can't seem to delete that dreadful ferrari video. Is this a permanent video?
If it is a pre-installed video from the factory you need to go in there with a data cable and some software to do it. It can be done, but if you are inexperienced with modding phones it can be challenging. -Jay
