    Hello

I am new to the site and I have an issue that I am hoping to get some help with.

I have a Verizon Razr and I use a Cardo Scala 500 Bluetooth headset. My phone & headset continually lose connection, during calls and while on standby. I asked Verizon, who updated the software but the problem still exists.

I was wondering if anybody had the same problem and how they resolved it. Should I get a new Bluetooth headset? Is it my phone?

Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

I have the razr also but I'm on cingular. I have never had that prob and I have 3 diff styles of BT headsets. However, I have heard that complaint and others with people who have the razr on other providers such as verizon, t-mobile, and all-tell.

All i can say is try this:

    delete the pairing
    leave phone on
    take battery out
    5 seconds
    put battery back in
    turn on phone
    repair BT to phone.

I have had a few say that helped.
    why?, I couldn't say..
    but it's worth a try

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. What do I have to lose?

I'll let you know if it worked.

The problem can be two things, if the Rzr is GSM then the problem is with the bluetooth, you can get a motorola bluetooth headset instead, like that H700 or the H3. If the Razr is CDMA, it is known that there are issues when pairing bluetooth devices with it.

Go into the phone settings, select the bluetooth option and give your bluetooth headset a specific name like "joes headset". Bluetooth range has been extended and because of that (also there are alot of bluetooth devices around) will keep the bluetooth headset from trying to attach to any other device. That's the problem you're probably having.:browani:
