I have 1 GB on my old Toshiba laptop, 512 MB of RAM on our family's desktop, and 2 GB on my current laptop.

Our new desktop that we will be getting soon will have 2 GB of RAM and Vista. I will install Vista on my laptop since it is able to handle it.

WG - We're talking ram, not hard drive space. There's no way you have a laptop w/ 40gb ram.
