    Hey all,

I was going for the 8100, but the 9800 is looking pretty sweet. I've never had QWERTY before, but I have a friend with a sidekick who raves. What is the verdict in your opinions?

The 9800 is obviously a big step technologically above the 8100, but I think I'm ready - LOL

It seems like not too many people are excited or interested in this phone  . I should have mine within a week or so (am waiting on local retailer). I'll let you know what I think.

I guess it depends on what you want out of a phone. I think it's cool but I'm not sure how much I'd like it if that makes a lot of sense. lol.
Grizzld let us know how you like it when you get it.

I have to admit, I don't NEED any of the features that the phone has to offer. However, I will use almost all of them. I especially like the fact that there is a QWERTY keyboard. I send about 600-700 text messages per month.

I haven't been interested in Palm or Windows Mobile based phones, though. I've used both, and while I appreciated what they could do, I never used any of the features.

Just found out my retailer won't get them till next week.
