I am getting another line with sprint and I want to sell my phone that I already have. So do I have to cancel the line that has the phone that I want to sell or can I just sell the phone?
Are you getting a new number with the new phone? if so then yes you would have to cancel the original number prior to selling the phone. Also if your still within your contract, you would have to pay the ETF. Now if you are just upgrading the phone & keeping your current phone # on the new one, then you be ok to just sell the phone after the number was transfered over.

As long as the other phone is a Sprint one & it's not Too Old that it doesn't have E911 abilities as RJB stated sure.
