Can someone please take a look at this charger and give an opinion as to whether or not its good? I know people always say get OEM accessories, but I'm not sure if that only applies to batteries. My only concern is that it's $3.99, and I'm well aware of the old saying that you get what you pay for.

    Thanks

The "buy OEM" thing applies to car chargers as well. Or it does for me anyway.

Check out the Cellular King at eBay. He sells the OEM car charger. You can usually get it from him in an auction without the leather case if that isn't something you want...you will just have to search through his auctions. I am not going to do all the work for you [IMG]. I have purchased from him and didn't have a problem.

Just be careful what you buy. I bought my car charger off Ebay and eveytime I plug the phone in it shuts off. The charger does work, oh ya it charges; however you cant have the phone on at the same time. Stupid stupid stupid!

Make sure that when you get a charger, it shows that the phone is charging, and not just showing that it has a full charge and is blinking. That has been a problem with some of the aftermarket chargers.

it could be ok. Do you know what those dealers get those things for ? between 1 to 2 bucks a pop. Seems kinda unfair that we pay 20 bucks for them. so in reality at 4 bucks hes doubling his profit still.

I'm always willing to pay the higher prices for the piece of mind of using OEM accessories and parts. [IMG]

I have a cheap-crap (fleabay) car charger that looks a whole lot like that one and it works fine. It gets kinda hot but seems to work good.
