Question about Verizon PTT versus Nextel PTT

For $50 I couldn't resist.

Thank you Diverdown, I figured i needed to refresh my evil image so from the KMFDM "Godlike" Icon, I browsed around and this is what I found, I dig it much myself, now I can fight Craptain to "free" the ringtones in a crazy crazy wireless world., Ohh yeah BTW Diverdown, Member "Craptain" already has the Autobots Icon. :\

ANd to stay on the topic of this thread, Verizon PTT is RULES!, but i've never used it, i just hope it.

 

Me is not liking HoFo very much these days. Never did like it as much as WA (obviously). I used the decepticon icon last winter for a while, but you found a much better quality one than I ever did Cop. BTW, if you see me all over that must mean you are all over too.

 

r u telling me that their is no body on this forum who has any information on wats goin on with both the nextel lawsuits and when verizon wireless might release PTT.

P..S. look on some of the other PTT discussions that gave the web addresses for the other websites i had an idea i wanted someone to do.

 

I have no heard anything about the lawsuits recently.

As for the release date of PTT, if you knew it was 2 days or 2 months away, would that really matter? As stated in the other threads, people have information but they prefer to remain employed rather than divulge it to satisfy those that are seemingly too impatient just to wait.

 

Which brings the question....Is it better to know, or not to know? Sometimes I think it would be better not to know, and that is assuming that I do know. I can say this, if you read through the threads at all the clues we have collected, it is safe to say it will be here soon!

Whatever will we talk about then??

Cop, the icon is cool. I never knew what the old one was until you said it. I wonder...there were lots of Transformers..did they (Dinobots, Insecticons, and such) have their own icons as well, or was it just those 2?

 

Exactly. The threads will go from "When will Verizon launch PTT" to "I just got PTT today!!! And I don't know anyone else that has it yet so I can't use it!!!"

God, I hope not! Could you imagine? Custom PTT alert tones! Too much noise pollution. Now, when will they ever make a cell phone with electronic voice masking? That would be fun.

 

That would be damn cool, good idea Delta. Why haven't I ever thought of that?

 

you can make your own voice masking "attachment" by getting some simple components.

a #6 torx screwdriver
patience
A cheap Hands free headset (optional)
one of those voice changing modules they sell @ halloween stores on halloween
batteries from RadioShack (buy em from me , ill hOOk jOO up)
and some basic cosmetic/electronic knowledge.

Heres how to build it:

Step 1
Use that Basic Cosmetic/Electronic knowledge and mix it with patience.
Step 2
Youre done!
Now go scare some kiddies.
