i just recently purchased a V3m from verizon and joined this forum. i have to say that this forum has so many knowledgeable members that make it simple to make changes (mod) your phone.

yesterday i modded phone (seem edits) and added the ring then vibe option. i am not sure but now if i have my phone set to ring then vibe and charge my phone it switches to loud. i did not notice if this happened before i modded the phone but is this normal?

    thank you in advance.

Welcome to WA. I do not believe that is normal. Im pretty sure it should stay on the ring style u have it set for. You can easily undo that seem edit and see if the same thing happens. Seem edits are just "digital" switches that turn thinsg on and off. So it isnt like something that got mesed up and is irreversible. If u switch back and it still does it, just bring it to verizon and ask them if it is normal.

actually it is working properly. my friend just purchased his new verizon razr v3m and without any modding it does the same thing. when we put his phone on vibe and connected it to the charger, it switched to master volume and when we disconnected it from the charger it went back to vibe.

    thank you for the response
