    The above quote is from a question on the A530 Yahoo group. My question is, is it true that the silver version on the A530 is tri-mode? I havn't found anything on the net that suggests this. [​IMG]

    No it is not true. The silver and gold are both all digital phones with no difference in feature. The "s" merely denotes silver. The only difference when purchasing these two phones is that the gold came with the extended battery and the silver doesn't.

    This phone will not work in Europe. They are GSM and the phone is CDMA.
