    Hey Folks,

I was wondering if any of you could shed some light on the new LG VX5400 (Verizon). I am a die-hard fan of the VX8300, but have been using it for almost two years, and have an upgrade credit now. I was told I should get the VX8350, but I didn't really like what I had seen about the battery life or vibrate strength. This is what I need in a phone:

    -Good battery life
    -Good vibrate strength
    -Loud ringers
    -Good call quality
-Ok speakerphone (doesn't have to be great; I only use it every once in a while - checking voicemail, when being put on hold, etc.)

    What I don't need in a phone:
    -music of any kind
    -TV, or other similar things
-The only thing I use on Get It Now is the Backup Assistant program
-Large/qwerty keyboard (i actually prefer a nice, tactile standard keypad with T9Word)
    -excessively large screen
-Bluetooth is not necessary (Only thing I use it for is to transfer stuff from BitPim, but this isn't necessary... I usually just keep the phone on vibrate.)

What do you think? I have a friend who has the VX5400 and has very similar use habits to mine, and he loves his. Anyone who has any opinion, etc. would be much appreciated!

Thanks so much; Tally ho y'all!
