I appologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum.

Anyways i had errors while trying to install the program but tried it again and it seems like the majority of them are fixed. Heres my problems...
-My live update doesnt work, When i click on it to run it i get a error message that says "unknown error" and it closes.
-When i try to synchronize my contacts it fails.
-Melody studio does not work, When i try to transfer i get a error message "Unsupported format (mp3 codec may be inappropiate or missing). My files are MP3's. File transfer studio DOES work.
-Setup does not automatically setup my phone, So i have to select it from the list. Under cdma i see a v3cm and a v3c, Which one of these is correct?

Im running a Razr V3m with US Cellular, Just picked it up today.

    EDIT:
Under the v3c i was able to synchronize my contacts.

I went back and reinstalled phone tools and get the same error message when i try to run live update. I believe it said version 4.04 during installation.

the First error is simple, right click on the live update and run as admin it will allow it to run. after you do that it will automaticly set it up :)

How did you get the MP3 thing fixed

Sweet thank you that worked great!

There is a codec that needs to be changed, There is a couple ways to do it but i found a small program that i downloaded that installed the codec for me. I dont remember where i found it or what website it was on but it was thru searching cell phone forums.

Care to enlighten some of the rest of us?
I'm running Vista (I think that's the problem), but all I can find is an Avanquest program that I must purchase.
