Problems With MMS

    My daughter & I have been haveing trouble receiving & sending MMS. I have an Alltel branded Razr V3m (S/W NCR_01.1A.00R) my daughter has an Alltel branded Razr V3c.

    It's been a week and tech support still has not gotten back to me.

    My observations are that when the phone shows "EV" EVDO it would fail sending or downloading MMS. After numerous attempts it will sometimes switch to "D" digital and it would go through.. They officially rolled out EVDO on System ID 0053 along time ago... Tried PRL update went from 36606 to 30005 still problems... Tried lowering the resolution of pictures... Still having problems.. Any thoughts??? I have the trouble ticket number if anyone can look into it...

    I wonder if your AAA profile has the wrong ESN. That would account for the failure in EVDO...it just uses phone # and ESN to verify. Because you are using a RAZR, it is going to look for that EVDO first. Has it worked before with an EV?

    The V3c worked with EV when I originally had it. I then got a new V3m and moved the V3c to my daughter. Since that time it has stopped working for both of us...

    What is an AAA profile. Should I have tech support check out the AAA profile? Thanks for any help... No response from the HoFo forum on this issue... Again Thanks for any help...

    Thanks for the offer. I went back into the corp store and they still couldn't figure it out and they did a "RTI" exchange for me and it seemed to do the trick..

    dolphin_crazed I really appreciate the offer you were the only one to offer help. If I have any other problems I'll PM you..
