Anyone else having trouble opening the full sized pictures of images uploaded to the gallery? When I click to view on the picture to view the full size image all I get back is a corrupted file.
Same issue here for me, but only for pictures uploaded by Larry. Something must be going wrong with the encoding.
Yea, not too sure whats going on with larry's pics. Maybe he should get an android phone I hear nice things about the Evo Shift
Is there any info about the restrictions on image size, resolution and other properties? I'm uploading a big file and when it finishes it shows an empty page in ../upload.php file. I wonder is it a memory problem etc. on the server side.
jpg 2.93 MB 1000 x 1200 gif 2.44 MB 800 x 800 png 2.44 MB 800 x 800 jpeg 2.44 MB 800 x 800 bmp 2.44 MB 800 x 800
I see the problem with Larry's pictures. Has anybody seen this problem with anybody's else's pictures?
I tried a few others last night and only had the issue when viewing Larry's pictures. I didn't look too hard though to find any that were also uploaded by mobile phone.
I lost on how to figure out this issue. :dunno: When I click on one of Larry's pictures, I get a 'save as' type box to save the file. There is a blank page under that. Larry - what is the file type of these before you upload the picture?
Are the original files still on the server and on good condition? Maybe they have been broken sometimes in the server side? They start with usual JPEG data, but after 6 bytes they end. As there are no data that can be processed by the browser, it shows the save as box. May server had problem like not enourgh memory while adding them wirelessadvisor logo? etc...
Good thoughts..... The files on the server seem OK. They are also within the size (484KB) and dimension limits. I re-uploaded one myself and it still has the same problem. http://gallery.wirelessadvisor.com/showimage.php?i=6662 As for the memory limit when watermarking the logo....I don't know.
The save as message was for a file with .jpeg extension, maybe changing the extension of the photos to .jpg?.. Opening the files in a photo editor program and saving without doing changes, for JPEG formats have some different calculation algorithms, maybe the server software doesn't support them. Maybe images are progressive and serverside doesn't like them etc.... Brainstorming.
I was planning on it come May when I get my upgrade eligibilty but now that there's an additional $10 fee on top of having to pay $20 more for a special plan. No thanks. If I could keep the plan I have now and just pay $10 more I would do it.
Yea that's pretty crappy of Sprint. But how many non-4G smartphones does Sprint even have at this point? A few blackberrier?
Thanks for the suggestions...it didn't work though. I also tried reducing the file size and dimensions and then uploading...same problem. The only difference I see is that the watermark logo now appears. If it means anything, the gallery uses GD2 for image handling.
