I am moving from Ohio to Miami Florida. I currently have two cell phones one that is through Cricket and the other through Verizon. My Cricket phone is just for in town calling. The plan is pre-paid ( I have unlimited local incoming and outgoing calls for just $32.99 a month). I love this because I am on the go alot so I use my cell alot. The problem that I am running into is that Cricket doesn't have any locations in Miami. My question is: Are their any companies that offer this type of service in the Miami area. The only reason why i have my Verzion is because 1) the plan isn't up until october and 2) I have free long distance and roaming (which cricket does not offer).
Lucky you, there is a service like that in Miami, but it has a really small calling area, smaller than cricket. You'll have to get a new phone though. If I were you, i'd keep that Verizon plan, or maybe switch to their prepay (15$ a month) just for the roaming capabilitites. Its called MetroPCS at www.metropcs.com Good luck, tell us what happens!
