Yep, that's right! The OS you love, or love to hate just celebrated it's 10th B-Day. :birthday: the::unwired - ANNIVERSARY: Pocket PC aka Windows Mobile aka Windows Phone turns 10 - Happy Birthday!
I guess it's good to pause a moment for this anniversary, especially since it's the end of the line for the Pocket PC -based OS, as the article makes clear. Personally, I never owned/used any of these variants, but I did have their predecessor, an HP 360LX circa 1997, running Windows CE 2.0. That was awesome!! :lmao: SW
Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50369; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00) 2.0 wow! I started with 5.0, which I found easier to use then the Palm OS.
I had a few of the variants and each upgrade was better than the previous. I started in 2004 with Windows 2003 SE, then went to WM5, which I upgraded to WM6. My last one was WM 6.1. My prior experience was limited to Palm OS. I have no desire in the Window Phone 7 but look forward to seeing how different it is. Happy 10th. Birthday Windows Mobile!
