I had a RAZR from verizon wireless, and it broke. Thank the good lord above that i got the warrenty. I got my replacement phone within a day, and it was different. Not only did i notice the Motorola logo was gone, it had different firmware. The phone i had before was modded, so i decided to modd the new one. Before i uploaded the modded seem that i had, i could apply pictures to be the back grounds for my MAIN screen and my MINOR screen. When i uploaded the seem, everything seeemed to work fine. But my minor screens background was changed. And i can go back into my pics and i apply the pic, but it wont change change the background! Is their any way i can reset my phone and reinstall it back to the original settings? please help me! ( AIM = ll Le0 ll ( those are 2 Ls Le 0 ( 0 is a zero ) and 2 more L's PLEASE HELP! )
Well I would suggest just to try to get another phone I got one for warrenty and it was not the same at all the whole thing was diffrent.take it to verizon
VZW Customer Service is usually pretty accomodating if you exlpain the situation well enough and don't demand things as if they were your birth right. When you get a warranty replacement, VZW does their best to replace the defective phone with the exact same model. If it is no longer avaiable, you usually get the next step up. Let the kind folks at VZW know your situation. It may help to take the phone into a corporate store so they can actually see what you have and notate your account accordingly, too.
