This is a post from the "HoFo". This is exactly my problem and I would like to force my phone to the 800 MHz USCC also. Can someone please please please help me with this.

    Thank you very much.

"I live in XXXXXXX and I can testify to the spotty coverage in that area. VZW is definitely 1900MHz here and the indoor coverage at my home is rather poor downstairs and okay upstairs. If I'm downstairs for a while I'll force my phone to USCC to use their 800MHz signal and get excellent reception. USCC in the Milwaukee area is on the Extended Network thankfully."

Go menu -> 0 -> 000000 -> force mode -> cellular only. That should force the phone to work only on the cellular band (800 mhz).

Thank you very much. It works beautifully. Went from 1 tiny Verizon bar to 5 great USCC bars. :)

Ok lets be more careful when we give instructions when going into the debug menu, we don't want people changing settings their not supposed to and in the process having them not being able to used their phones anymore....

BTW, to go into the debug menu you press 0 (that's zero) then (zero) 000000 (six times)
not menu o (as in the letter "o")
