Anybody else watching the hockey playoffs?

A bunch of the higher seeded teams lost their 1st games making it more interesting.

I'm rooting for the Devils. They lost their 1st, but won tonight against the Flyers to tie the series.

    Who are you pulling for?

    Hoc-key? Never heard of it.

But really, I've always billed myself as a devils fan, mostly because i hate the rangers and the islanders are a joke.

Rooting for the Los Angeles Kings, as I support both teams in my area. It would be nice if both the Ducks and Kings make the playoffs at the same time, but 2010 isn't that year, so...

    Go L.A. Kings!!!

Not watching... My team choked away their chance over the last several games in the regular season :( There isn't any regular cheap way to watch hockey in these parts anyway.

Yep, here too. I forgot to mention that without cable, there are NO hockey games on local TV. Unless NBC decides to air some of the 1st round games AND local KNBC has the ability to carry the Kings, that's the only way to watch them...Oh well.

I've been a Rangers fan since 1979. It's like smashing your fingers with a hammer. Except for a brief moment in 1994.

...but since I've been in Europe the last 10+ years, I don't get much chance to watch NHL games. I've watched various Euro teams, which are interesting too. The Swedish league is my favorite, maybe Finish too. At the moment I'm watching Swiss league, on par with AHL or so I guess...altho ticket prices are on par with the NHL. In Czech the hockey was much better and tickets were about $5...

Had good seats to the Lausanne-Beil game the other night tho. That's John Van Boxmeers bald head coaching Lausanne...

The Los Angeles Kings are doing well so far. I'm excited for them, as it's been what seems like a century since they've had a good season. The Anaheim Ducks won a Stanley Cup in their 15th year of existence. The normally-pathetic Kings have made it to one final in the early '90s. That's all they have to show for 43 years of existence.

I root for all my local teams no matter what. I was thrilled when the Ducks won and will root for the Kings however far they reach in the playoffs.

    So Go Kings!!!

Unless the Kings can win the next two, they are done for. The good thing is this team is young and did far better this year than what was expected.

They could become a dangerous team next year and finally have the Stanley Cup legitimately in their sight.

My hope is the Kings and Ducks both make the playoffs next year. Fingers crossed. :D

Oh and Wiggy, great seeing you back here again! ;)

Since the Kings barfed up a lung, and the Penguins imploded, I am now rooting for the Chicago Blackhawks to take it all.

On a side note, I am quite happy to see the :censored: San Jose Sharks once again bounced from the playoffs. They do too much talking about their supposed greatness, yet they have NOTHING to show for it. NO Stanley Cups to speak of, just constant playoff failure. I call it karma.

At least the Anaheim Ducks have won the Cup (and they're younger than the Sharks too!). The Kings haven't won anything either, but still I'm happy one of our local teams has something the arrogant Sharks don't.

    Go Blackhawks!!!

Wow!!! What an exciting game! I haven't enjoyed a hockey game like this since the Ducks won the Cup in 2007.

Congratulations Chicago Blackhawks - 2010 Stanley Cup Champions

    It was a great game!

I'm happy the Blackhawks won.....I wouldn't have minded watching a game 7 though.

The playoffs were great from start to finish....all except for my team :(

I hate the Blackhawks. Go Flyers! Suck it Bruins! :) Yeah,. so I am late to this thread. But hockey is the best sport of them all, so any time is good!

I went to the Coyotes Games 5 and 7 vs. Detroit. Tons of fun, even if the evil Red Wings won both of the games.
