    Careful what you ask for.
    I'm using a phone with an on-screen fingerprint reader and I turned on Face Unlock because I don't like it. I don't have to look for the spot with a capacitive reader, I can feel it. I'm always guessing with reader on the Galaxy S20, which isn't the best to begin with.

    As far as ergonomics go the fingerprint reader placement on the Nexus 5/6 and Pixels up until the 4 was ideal IMHO. Very natural to unlock and I was definitely happy to use it to pull down the notifications without ever touching the screen.
