I have unlimited messaging on my phone. We have a smart phone plan. Before we had the smart phone plan we just had the 750 messaging pack. I have never been able to send picture messages. I know I have picture messaging.

The one time I could send a picture message was when I was right next to the person I was sending it to trying to show her how it doesn't work. Usually it says message delivery failed. And when I receive them it will not download them. I cant even see the text. Last night my friend sent one to my mothers Moto Q and it never even came. Then she sent it to mine and it never came.

Anyone know what the problem is? Or how to fix it?

I would call alltel tech support and ask for help.

yea i might have to do that. The people in the store were no good. Instead he tried to sell me a smart phone. I am a college student and the only thing i use my phone for is text messaging. I do not need a smart phone. A full keyboard would be nice but I am not going to buy a smart phone to get one.

Yeah try this and let us know how it goes.

On the flip side I do wish carriers would make dumb phones with a full keyboard like the LG Rumor design on Sprint.

actually the rumor is coming to alltel. They are renaming it the lg scoop. And it will come in blue and orange. I am able to upgrade in a month but I am waiting for that phone to come out.

most of pic msg problems are the data part of the switch is looking for the wrong handset authntication and usaly just needs current info refreshed in it, as for the moto Q it doesn't have the provisioning to do pic msg, and far as i know the only smartphone that can is the htc 6800, mabey the touch will follow suit :)

just call tech support and tell them text is working but pics are not, they will probley ask how long or if you did handset change and take care of it in 2-3 mins :p
