I need reminder alerts of missed calls and messages.

are there any phones that even touch everything else that 4400 does in the "regular" phone provider market. One thing, I can't have sprint cause I get no signal at my home.

    Thanks

My understanding is that these deficiencies will be fixed in a future software update.

i live in a fringe area and i tried two lg tm-510s and i had constant dropped calls, i compared them side by side with a v-60i and the v-60i blew them away. i ended up keeping the v-60i and have had no dropped calls or problems. plus the motorolas seem more rugged and better quality. the lg;s looked nice but they felt cheap. you should try the v-60i , if that doesn;t get a good signal in your home, you would be better off trying a different provider.

    thanks for the responses

oppie, I heard that too, but do we have a time frame? I mean was it like January that they said April and now it's April and nothing is to be heard of it again. Or are they really working on it and going to change it for real.

I know, too many questions, but the clock on my 15 days is ticking.

I'm even considering the Kyocera PDA phone.

I like my Vx10 and my friends Vx2000, good rf, loud phones and ringers, and good voice quality.

    Steele,

I know that there have been two software releases/updates. However, none have addressed your issues. A guy on this sight purchased a dozen phones (or so) for his company and complained to LG. LG said the phones are to VZW specs. After much discussion between VZW and LG, he said LG responded and said these issues would be fixed in a software update. Check the prior posts. I believe it was sometime in March. If we're at version 06 (?) I would hope we'd see it on 07.

Thanks for the indepth explanation, makes sense. Bad for that girl/company.

You'd think it'd be a totally easy thing to do, at least way easier than lets say, writing a whole video game or hooking up voicemail.

BTW, I still haven't gotten my vibrate and reminder thing to work. Any ideas?
