Who has good in building coverage at Philadelphia and suburban colleges and universities, MED and law schools too. Penn, Temple, Drexel, Villanova, Gwynedd, Cabrini, Imaculata,Bryn Mawr, Rosemont, Jefferson ,PCoM etc. THANKS
brother went to nova, and i travel to philly a lot- verizon no problems whatsoever, I think cingular is good in philly, don't know about others
At the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, there is Cingular coverage in the hospital, as Cingular has microtowers in the hospital itself. I have an ATT plan, so I can use my phone throughout the hospital. I live in Center City, and don't have trouble getting signal. Out in the suburbs, there can be some reception issues since people fight towers. Verizon is supposed to be good in Philadelphia, though I hear they are having capacity issues. I don't have too much personal experience with Verizon here, though.
REPLY: yes VZw works Ok in the city ,the suburbs are OK except for some holes they won't even try to fix, like Chesterbrooke near King of Prussia or parts of rt 476 near rt 30. Cingular is weak at GMC; VZW is a bit better there but in Gwynedd valley VZW is worst. At West Chester (college) cingular is just OK) HOW about P COM or Drexel Med on Queen Lane? anyone know?
