Firefox 2 is my default browser on both platforms (PC and Mac). I like using one cross-platform product if I can, and the M$ product is clearly inferior in this case. Only problem is, some sites just don't work in Firefox, including lots of my employer's intranet sites (for reasons I can't explain ). So I do use IE when I have to. SW
Firefox 2 also is my primary browser and I only use IE when I really have to, in cases like Steve mentioned. I do have some extensions in Firefox I use, such as my Verizon minute usage, which is really neat, and different themes.
Firefox 2 is my default browser on both my Mac's and I mostly only use it. Once in a while though I will use Safari also.
Firefox mainly and I occasionally use Opera and use IE for sites that won't work with Firefox and Opera
I am back using IE. I tried using Opera for a while, but it had some issues with formatting, finding web pages. Memoery leaks & formatting in the old version of Firefox made me dump it. I will check out 2.0 soon.
I use Firefox by choice, but IE is my company's standard, so all my webtesting has to be done in IE -- thus I tend to use IE at work.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 es70) I run Firefox 2.0 with the IE Tab plug-in.
9 votes for Firefox, versus 11 votes for IE. Interesting, I guess this trend shows what I read about online from time to time that more and more people are switching to Firefox, or at least starting to use it from time to time.
I use Firefox for the most part. I also have Suse 10.2 running in Parallels on my notebook, and on there I tend to use the Konqueror web browser.
Heh I wish I could change my vote, I just switched my default browser on both my Mac's back to Safari. I still sometimes use Firefox but only when a page doesn't load or look quite right using Safari which is rare.
I use IE7 because it starts up fast. I use to like Netscape better but in recent years it has become slow as molasses.
I have both IE 6 & 7 installed on my computer, but I like IE 6 better. I guess because I'm familiar with it. At least on Windows you can use "Classic" settings, and its just like Win95. -Jay
