    It's not crazy, other than the space issues Yankeys mentioned I think it would be an awesome idea! then I'd become a taxi driver getting double the wage :D

    Our towers here in TN must not be turned up like your towers up there are.. The absolute best I've ever seen that I can recall is around -50db on any of my phones I've ever had... That includes my various Cingular, US Cellular and Sprint phones.

    I would assume that the taller the towers the higher the db signal readings you'll get. Here in So. Cal we have some really low towers (30 Ft) where I've seen readings of -40 dbs. But out in the desert where the towers are over 150 ft I only get about -60 while near them.

    Nothing better than standing under a cell site that is located on a 1 story building. Mmmmmmm...radiation.

    Generally, our towers are pretty tall and are often on top of hills or mountains. That may very well have something to do with it. We also don't (to my knowledge) have any microcells either.

    LOL, i hope not. You would think that in NYC, they would be able to place that tower just a litttttllleee bit higher.

    Actually, I hjave two pictures to post later. One is of a Cell site on top of an NYC gov building pointed UP. The second would be the building its pointed at.
