Darn...I was training my voicedials tonight and my microphone stopped working. I was training them and I heard a buzz sound so I shut my phone and oppened it and tried to do a voice memo and voice dial and nothing happened. I tried shutting it on and off but nothing. I also tried a call and no better. Im a little mad and dissapointed because I thought it was such a good phone and mad because I have over 100 dollers in ringtones and games[IMG]
Anyone every heard of this problem before. But one thing I have noticed was that since I got it the, where the microphone is, the LG sign looks a little indented...[IMG]
Well thank god I have insurance. I was going to the store tomorw anyways to return my body glove case...its ripping ALL over from the stress of opening and closing. How does this exchange work? I've never done it before

if the microphone just stopped working it should be under warranty and i think once you tell them your problem Verizon will just swap it out for you. (you dont even need to do anything with insurance). Also ask them about getting a credit for all the games and ringtones you have on ur phone, they should give you one.

definitely get credit for your games and ringtones if you spent that much, as long as the it's a phone defect and it's not damage cause by you they have to credit you.

Oh Great. My replacement is a dud also. It looses signal and I need to shut the phone off to get it back up but when I turn it off it freezes on the Verizon banner and stays like that untill it wants to. I take the battery out when its frozen and go to turn it on and the same thing happens. I got it on now. Also when i'm sending a text message it freezes. It randomly shuts off in my pocket. It freezes when I'm trying to change my ringtone. Wow and only after about 5 hours of use. If this happens more and more will they keep on giving me LG's or will they switch me a phone for say that Audiovox that I first had.

I had 4 replacement Audiovox 8600s before they let me switch the phone I used ... So it wont be until you have quite a few dud replacements before they let you switch your phone.

hmm i cant even remember all the problems I have had .. if you search the audiovox forum you will see some threads where I described my problems ... one or 2 had reception problems, one the 7key didnt work, another restarted itself (which i think my 4500 does sometimes too, but the 4500 you can turn the sound off when it turns on while ont he 8600 it plays a nice little song when it turns on (which is a BIG problem when in the middle of class) ... there were more problems that i cant recall at the moment.

It also looks like this phone had some abuse on it. I know its a refurbished phone but isnt it supposed to go back to get restored? All around my screen the light strip thing is ALL cracked or tore around it. My light on the inside screen flashes on and off a LOT randomly. Darn luck...

actually thats exactly what you should do. the final time I went in I called customer service and told them that my phone was having problems and had them SAY that i should get another phone. I made sure he wrote it down in my call log and when i went ot the store it was written right there, the rep saw it and let me switch to a new phone...
