Thanks. Really nice to see the Sprint page.

I am glad Sprint is not dragging their feet about getting this one out. Sprint took forever to get the original Razr. I never liked the first Razr because I had my A900, but now that the A900 is almost 2 years old it is time for a change. Definitely post a review for us if you don't mind. The Razr 2 is starting to get me a bit excited so I will be curious to find out how you like the phone.

Let me address a few questions people had about this phone. Ok the front screen can display the text messages if you have it to icon and view not just icon only. The screen is 65k but it looks damn nice. You have to take out the battery to put in the sd card. On the old razr you could not control the keylight sensor you can control that on this one. The power plug is smaller than the old one so it will not work. Um yeah that is all I can think about right now.

Do you think I should exchange my Katana DLX for the Razr2? I really don't like the DLX. I know you just got it, but it looks like its good so far. I'd love any advice!

Well that really depends on you. I did have the DLX and I really did not like it as it did freeze up on me and it restarted. Also it felt very cheap to me. But remember this is my opinion. If the money is not a big deal to you then oh yeah I would get the v9m. So far I have not found one problem I had with the v3m that this phone does not address. I just the feeling of the phone it is very solid and feels like it will easily work for 2 or more years.

How does the phone handle picture messages? Will the picture come directly to the phone now or will it still be old school and have it be a text message with a weblink to the picture?

Yep it comes to the phone now it does have the updates version of the picture messaging that old way sucked. Also in case anyone is wondering this phone has i-tap not t9 but it seems to be a newer style cause it is not bad. Also it can accept different themes so you are not just stuck with the moto ui.

I have another question. I have a hard time hearing people on the Dlx., and people often say "what" to me. And I have the volume set on max. How is the clarity/volume of the earpiece (and speaker if you've used it)? I called Sprint today to ask about swapping it for the V9m and was transferred to a wrong department. I haven't called back yet. I wanted to get more feadback.

Thanks for your advice so far.

Hey you are more than welcome to ask what you want. You know I think moto has a great reputation for this type of thing. When I read this I thought to myself oh yeah I should try the speakerphone lol. Well I just did so thanks. The earpiece is very very good to me I can hear people crystal clear and it is loud as well. Also people on the other end are having no trouble from what I have heard. The speakerphone I just tried sounded very crisp and clear. There was no muffled sound. Does this help and also ask away ask away.

I agree that the picture looks good. Have you had any trouble getting on the internet, or with Sprint TV? My Dlx. has had trouble with both. I think I'll try and call Sprint and see if I have better luck getting the right person. Thanks for the pictures and help.
