NW Connecticut and Voicestream?

    I live in Northwest Connecticut. In the Litchfield Hills area. I have experience with most cellular companies offered to us but I am interested in finding out how the service in my area is through Voicestream. Does anyone have any experience with Voicestream in my area?

    You're lucky to have PHONE service in the Litchfield Hills. I lived there for awhile.
    If SNET/Cingular and ATT don't work, VoiceStream certainly won't. And it suc*s in most of the rest of the State...

    How about 2 tin cans and a string? Will it work in Litchfield?

    Litchfield county is definitely ATT wireless territory. I've found the ATT Wireless stinks elsewhere in the state (at my home in Simsbury and all around the UConn Storrs campus) but it seemed to work great in the Torrington area. I'm using Verizon and have had great signal all around the state.
