What Nokia phones can be used with the Verizon network? Even though Verizon doesn't offer them, I'm looking to purchase form Nokiausa.com and take it to a verizon location.

    Thanks

Sprint will be selling the new Nokia 3588i very soon. It's a color screen version of the 3585i with some other minor changes.

Verizon supported, but did not sell the Nokia 6185i. They DID sell the 5185i and the 3285. Verizon's precessors also sold older Nokias, like the 218(?), and I bet they cringe when a customer comes through the door with one of them, unless it's to trade it in.

I'm surprised Verizon sold the 'newer' phones after Nokia failed in their original CDMA chips, as reported in this Article.

The nokia 2180 was the first CDMA digital phone. Then came the 5180 (dual mode) then the upgraded 5185 tri-mode. Then the 3285 and you can get a 3585 to work on verizon if it was originallly with Alltel

The 6185 came out close to the 5180. In my opinion that phone is a good basic phone. I like the feel of it better then the newer 3285 and the 3585.
