Ok Nokia experts, I've got a question: I currently use Sprint PCS but am on the verge of switching to T Mobile. The only Nokia phone that T Mobile sells is the 3390, which is fine except that I need a phone that has worldwide roaming capabilities. Can anyone recommend a Nokia that is compatible with T-Mobile, has worldwide roaming, good battery life and signal reception, and is less than $200?? I don't need anything fancy on it at all - no color screens, built in cameras, etc. Thanks in advance for any help!!
If you are into light phones w/ a color screen and is worldwide capable on T-mobile's network go w/ the Nokia 7210!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 7210 is over $200 though, way over. I would say the 6310i too, but that may even be a problem finding it at $200 or below.
Thanks for the suggestions, but I think the 7210 is out of my range. If only they made a tri-band GSM phone that has the form factor of the 7210 but without the extra fancy stuff.
If they only made a 540ci BMW for under $20,000 with out all that fancy stuff. If you have a little time to wait, I'm sure you'll be able to find used 7210's on eBay for around $200 within a year. BTW: I just got my 7210 and I love it, I'm currently trying to track down either a USB IrDa or a IrDa to take advantage of the IR capabilities of my motherboard on my PC right now so I can use that sweeeeet PC Suite software from Nokia.
I have a 6310i that I'm pushing, I wouldn't be able to do $200, but probably around $250... It is Tri-Band, IRDA, Bluetooth... all around most powerful phone besides lacking the color screen. E-mail me at rwjimports@aol.com if you are interested.
