Also rumored for release around the same period is the Samsung Galaxy Note. IF I could get it without paying substantial early upgrade penalties, I might actually consider it. At first I was set against it, but now I think it would be good trade-off between a phone and small tablet. But even those who are upgrade ready are going to find it's $400 cost to be a bit pricey. Maybe Walmart, Target or Best Buy will have it at a more reasonable price. I know that my Sammy Infuse was sold to me by Costco at a much more enticing price than ATT-owned retail could.

You're always better off buying your phone and paying for it entirely. With a contract, total cost can be 2x-5x more.

I wait for it to go on sale, then buy and use with monthly service, no contract. I always get unlocked phones. I even have a SIM card that can hold up to six different accounts for travel. It's much cheaper this way, really, as long as you have the self control to wait a bit to save up and buy a phone outright.

I wouldn't consider a Windows phone until they figure out how to include a micro SD card slot. It shouldn't cost more to have less memory. On second thought, I'd rather use Symbian or Meego and double the battery life on my phone.

I'm done with Windows Mobile, after the way they handled the move from WM6.5 to WP7, I'm done. I was stuck in a contract with a phone that nobody wanted to support for well over a year before I qualified for an upgrade again. I bought an Android phone, and I couldn't be happier.

I am a very happy Android user as well but I am getting bored with it.

I tried out the Focus Flash for a week and was amazed at how smooth and fluid it was and how tidy the OS was. The biggest negative to me was that WP appeared almost as restrictive as iOS, starting with no BT file transfer.

I am very interested in the Lumia 900 and will definitely check it ouit when it launches next month. :)

Have you tried a Vivid LTE yet? (it seems you change phones more often than your socks at times, LOL) I love mine.

Lol, no I haven't. I am trying to stay at 4.3" or under. Actually the Atrix at 4" is the perfect size for me. :)
