This is probably the dumbest question any of you here will ever read...I can't figure out how to turn my cell phone on. Seriously. I have a Nokia 8390 I purchased online. The person I bought it from told me it was locked...not sure if that has anything to do with this. Anyway, my problem is, I've charged the phone, and the little battery icon with the moving lines came up on the screen indicating it was charging...but for some reason, I can't get the phone to turn on. I know I won't be able to use the phone until I have it unlocked (unless I'm lucky and it works with my T-Mobile SIM), but I ought to at least be able to turn it on and see a "SIM not accepted" message or something, right? Does anyone know any tricks about turning on the phone? The battery works and the screen works, so it seems to me the problem (if there is one) is probably with the power switch or something...really, I have no idea. Any help you could offer me would be much appreciated...My e-mail is email@example.com.
