Does anyone know if I can buy ATT 6360 and activate it on Suncom (Triton PCS)? I have done so with a v60 I bought from an ATT dealer before Suncom offered them and it was difficult to get Suncom to do an ESN change into the V60 (eventually I got it done). I have seen these advertised as unlocked but every ATT store I have called says the phone is locked to ATT. Any thoughts?

I contacted SunCom about that phone about 2 weeks ago and I got a respone back from them. I'll copy and paste it into this window.

    Dear Daniel,

Thank you for your recent inquiry via our SunCom Internet website.

At this time we hope to have the Nokia 6360 in our retail locations, and
    available by August first.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reply or
contact our Customer Care Dept. toll free at 1-800-786-7378.

    Sincerely,

    SunCom

    TNDan21-

Thanks for the info! Any idea whether or not an ATT phone will work?

The Suncom web site has an option to download ringtones and graphics to this phone, so in any event it looks like I won't have to wait long.

If you can just wait for SunCom to carry the phone, its only a little over a month away before they carry it and I have noticed that SunCom typically sells phones for cheaper then AT&T does anyway.

Yes...you can activate an AT&T 6360 (or any other AT&T TDMA phone for that matter) on SunCom.

All phones sold by AT&T are locked to SOC 2049...as are all SunCom (Triton) phones.

    Should be no problem.
