I'm debating between these two phones. I like them both.

    6256i: Bluetooth. Lots of features.

6236i: Tried and true candy bar design. Small.

I like to text a lot. I also like the classic no-nonsense Nokia interface (as featured on the 2128i, 6015i, and the 2285).

Anyone have any preferences or opinions to help me decide between these two?

    Thanks.

You are looking at 2 of the best "RF" fones you can get for VZW.
I am partial to my slim 6236i because I don't really like flip-doors.
The 6256i, however, does give you full bluetooth, & analog capability, neither of which is in the 6236i.

    Good to know.

    Interface wise, are they similar?
