Well for 1 Thank You for calling Nokia to find out the difference between the 2. And Yes if the 6101 is Identical in every other feature but the voice, guess that's the 1 I am going to look for. Cingular's ad yesterday said the 6102 would be going for 89.99 with a 2 year contract, so I wonder what the list price is going to be.

When bidding on Ebay then, you have to be carefull to make sure it's the US version & not the European version, since as the link I provided before show's they are the 900/1800/1900 bands.

Very true, infact you have to watch out for more than that, here is one seller that does quite say which version it is and makes it sound like it is a quad band:

    Oh no, not you too?...LOL

    Congrats Charlyee...the big 1K. ;)

I think that if Nokia would have added Bluetooth to either version it would have made it a better contender for new released phones....

Hey, when you can not beat them, join them...LOL.

The 6101/6102 is being marketed as a mid range phone, so I guess the abscence of BT maybe makes sense. Also this being Nokia's first attempt for a flip phone for the US market they didn't necessarily want to load it up?

PS: It is nice to see you and Fire, the 2 Moto fans carry this Nokia thread to 3 pages long....... :D

That page has been up for some time :)....the two really look exactly the same.

Do I detect a change of brand loyalty here :D?

I have a Nokia 6101 Ordered thru T-Mobile, impatiently waiting for it to arrive. I have enjoyed my Nokia 6600, I just hope I enjoy my/the Nokia 6101 as good if not better.

Yes I would like to know, too. Despite the somewhat odd (IMO) design, I am interested in this phone... especially because the last Nokia I have owned was the 5170i in 2002 lol.
