I'm researching a possible provider switch to Verizon next week. The 6015i has disappeared from Verizon's website. Any ideas what happened? Has it been pulled? I have a Nokia currently and was hoping to activate two 6015i on a family share plan.

I just got a 6015i for my dad. But I went to a Verizon store. That would probably be the best place to start.

Stopped at retail store this afternoon and they still have it. Probably will get this for the wife because its easy to use. May end up getting moto 265 or 710 for myself, though. :)

I believe that phone is being phased out...when I spoke with a Nokia rep at the end of last year they didn't really seem to have to much in the pipe for the future either.

I think the 6015i is being discontinued. I work for an indirect store and haven't been able to get them for a few weeks now. They aren't even listed on our equipment ordering site anymore. Funny thing with Nokias and Vzw, Nokias never seem to stick around for very long, I don't get it, they're pretty decent phones for the $$$.

The problem is they aren't all shiney and glamorous...the cdma Nokias are pretty boring.

They do work well, but don't sell to well in the corporate stores.

Your right, no bells and whistles, but we sell a bunch because we do them for free on 2 year agreements.

You'd think they would sell well due to the price and the Nokia quality. Many people just want a good phone, not all the bells and whistles. Even the 1yr. price of 59.99 is good.

You are right most of these are phasing out I have not seen on in the retail store for a while. I do see them at Radio Shack though in my area. This is the phone I have and I love it, I would not want anything else. I really did not have many options though I only like candy bar style phones.

Got two of these on 6-21-05 for 1yr. agreement. $59.99 1st, 2nd free. They were the last two phones in the store at the corporate location I visited. We're happy with them so far. :D

How is the sound quality and loudness on the 6015?
I don't need a hearing aid, but my hearing is kind of whacked....

It is very good in fact for me I have to turn down the volume on my phone because it is so loud. The sound quality is also good I have no complaints.

Just got my 6015i today. First observations are that the speakerphone is really good. The sound quality of the non-speakerphone speaker is great, much better than my SGH-E315. Menu took a little getting used to since I'm used to mostly Motorola Menus... I'll post a full review in a few days. At this point, it appears to be a solid, basic handset.

I know that you will enjoy your phone as much as I do. I have had mine for about 8 months now and it is a Rock. So please do put a review of the phone here I would like to know what you think of it. About the menu I think you will learn to like it better than motorolas menu.

    Yes, CellularONE-Western Wireless.
Sadly, I had to retire my trusty Motorola Timeport P8197 because it is TDMA and non-E911 compliant. The Nokia 6015i was the least expensive E911 compatible handset available so that's what I went with. For the first time in my wireless life I have no active Motorola handsets. :( My "home" phone is the 6015i and my cell phone is a Samsung SGH-E315. My v600 is currently being used in an alpha test of modding software so I don't have it and haven't been able to use it for a while. I keep the v600 on my phone(s) list so I can at least live with myself.
