The nokia 3585 is a tri-mode CDMA phone, will Verizon carry this phone? It is unique looking and maybe will steal some people away from the ever-popular TDMA 3360 (at least in my area since it's Cingular or Verizon). I'd totally swich from Prepay, give my 5185i to my dad, and get a regular plan for that phone. I'd like a very customizable(sp?, sad for someone with a 100 GPA lol!) CDMA phone! If not, will Verizon carry any other Nokia phones any time soon?

I work at RadioShack, and I was told just the other day by our Nokia rep that the 3285 will be released with Sprint PCS

yep, looks like the 3585 is a Java phone, which will be part of Sprint's 3G network. Verizon uses BREW, so it's doubtful we will sell this phone.

The phonescoop article refers to a new pop-port accessory connector for the 3585. Nokia USA claims they don't know anything about it. Does anyone out there have any info on this connector? [IMG]

Verizon is going to have Java along with BREW now (I am getting thirsty lol!), so does this look better for VZW carrying the phone?! I hope so!
