Nokia 1100 OS questions

    For anyone who has used the Nokia 1100: How similar is the OS to the Nokia 5110/5190 series phones from around ~1999? The hardware buttons look identical, and the (very few) screen shots of the interface I've seen on the web seem to be somewhat similar. I'd love to get a working 5190 just for the retroness of it, but the single 1900 GSM is a bit of a limitation. The 1100 could be a good compromise if the OS is similar enough.

    I haven't actually used the 1110 but from what I know yes it is similar to the 5110 & also I believe to the 3210, 3310.

    Maybe an user or a Nokia expert will jump in here with more information.

    Not an expert, and I've only spent a few minutes with it once — but it did seem rather similar to the old 5190 (which is also kind of hazy in my memory now).
