My phones mm7400 vm4500 will both say entering sprint service area briefly before losing the service this happens repeatedly once every 2 seconds. I called sprint they gave me a ticket number which has since become a cluster ticket. It is now 11/7/05. And it is still not fixed. Is it normal for repairs to take this long?

It is possible that it takes that long. In my experience, Sprint will jerk you around for a while until you can prove that one of their towers is malfunctioning. Just keep calling!

Also, make sure you're getting credited for your time without service...

That's a long time. Maybe you should try talking to a supervisor. I once opened a trouble ticket with VZW on a sunday because the site near my house was having problems. They sent someone out who fixed the site after a few hours on a snowy sunday.
It shouldn't take them over a week. Call again and talk to a higher level rep/supervisor.

Ok i still have no service by my house. Sprint is saying there's a problem with the cascade. They said it was somekind of switch. Is that true?

Well whatever the problem was it finally fixed. Hopefully it won't happen again any time soon.
