No Service From Sprint

    I currently have a Treo 600 with the insurance. I went to check my email, the phone froze and went into a continuous reboot. When I took the phone to a Sprint store, the tech stated that that phone was dead and that a new phone would need to be ordered. I for a loaner while the phone came in but was told that IT IS SPRINT POLICY TO NOT PROVIDE LOANER PHONES. I contacted customer service only to receive the same respones. Verizon and AT&T provide loaner phones, why not Sprint?

    I travel and require the use of my phone. I use it for business and require cell service. Since I now have no phone, Sprint doesn't care. They only care about the money each month and getting new customers. I can purchase another phone but after paying $600 for this phone, I am not about to go and purchase another phone. Once my contract is up, I will be leaving Sprint and their RUDE customer service.

    Sorry for venting but I want everyone to be aware of the way Sprint does business. Do not purchase the insurance b/c it won't allow for loaners and will not provide you with a phone any faster. Previously I had purchased their RoadSide Assistance. Without a working phone, I now have dropped the insurance and the roadside assistance. All of these services are provided so that Sprint can take more of your money.

    Also, Sprint, at least until now, doesn't have techs at every store and often/mostly doesn't do phone swap outs in store, even if they are under warranty. This is one aspect where Verizon has never failed me, even after my one year manufacturers warranty was over they still replaced it without asking any questions, only thing they did was upgrade my software version, and since it still didn't work, they replaced it.
