Went with Verizon on 7/19/04. I bought the Motorola V60s and got my wife the Nokia 3589i. Since I live in Dover, NH I had to get a Portsmouth number, which does not bother me. So far, I have had fantastic reception, especially when going home via Kensington, then Exeter, and through Newmarket. The real test will be this weekend when I go up north around Conway, North Conway, Bartlett, Crawford Notch, Twin Mountain, and then home via 93S. Most of my calls have sounded better than when I had GSM with T-Mo. I tried getting a deal with AT&T, but they did not want to give me nights at 7pm on the family share plan I wanted. The Motorola V60s seems like a good phone, especially for $40.

Glad the service is meeting your expectations.

Your trip this weekend will have you roaming on US Cellular's digital service, since Verizon doesn't have native service in the "north country."

Hope it continues to be excellent.
