I just came across this site and forum. I'm hoping to find information to better educate myself on how cellular voice/data is built, upgraded and how signals are emitted. I live in the mountains of Colorado and am a Verizon customer. I own a Samsung Galaxy III. I used to have stellar service with Verizon throughout our valley, but since 4G was introduced in my area, signal has gone to the crapper. I can see the towers a little over a mile away with no obstruction. Verizon support is useless. I think it would take a tower to go dark to get anyone to look into the service degradation. Thanks in advance.
