hello all...i'm new to this forum. have several questions that i hope you can help me out with. i just got the sanyo 5300. bought the data cable. bought snap sync and snap dialer. downloaded pcs connection manager. now, what do i have to do next to be able to use my phone as a "broadband" modem for my laptop? actually, my vision account doesn't take effect until my next billing cycle, but wanted to have everything set up. thanks for your help in advance.
That's technically in violation of your service contract (search this site for more info). But really, you have all you need for the connection. Most people use the PCS Connection Manger -- you won't need the SnapDial or SnapSync software. You connect the phone and laptop with the cable, run the Connection Manager, Click GO, and hope your account doesn't get cancelled for "Vision abuse."
