So when is Voicestream launching in CA and when will they provide new rate plans for exisiting customers outside of CA. IT seems that the launch keeps getting pushed back.

The Cali/Nevada launch is July 15th. It hasn't been pushed back. Let's just say that the rest of the nation will change to T-Mobile between August and September. That's when things will change, but not neccessarily rate plans. There will be some promotions though. There are gonna be some nice, and I mean very very nice promotions for Cali/Nevada.

Monday is the day. Can't wait to see what they will have as far as promotions.

Keep this hush hush. We don't want the competition of T-Mobile to see this.

will there be an update to the family plan. If I have an exisiting line (under contract), and want to add a phone how does this work? i.e., do I just add the phone to my account (can I get a free phone for the second line, etc)?

these are CA only plans so if you want to add on, you are going to have to sign up in CA you can't add a CA local # to your account to get the rate plan.

Hey, with 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited weekends for $40 bucks who needs night minutes? However, I think the price jump from $39.99 to $59.99 for 500 minutes more is a little too steep.

BTW, is this a national or regional plan?

These are national plans according to a post by a CA t-mobile employee in another forum.

IMO, new plans will roll out nationwide as the change to T-Mobile occurs.

I believe so, according to some other people in another forum. That rate plan is part of the launching rate plans in Cali/Nevada.
