After 4 years of sending emails to Alltel about the major coverage issue they had in the Rogers City area. Alltel (now apart of Verizon Wireless) finally came through! I just read an article in the Presque Isle Advance stating that there has been a representative from Alltel that has found an area to build a monopole tower and is already being processed. If everything goes smooth (which rarely happens), this thing should be live by next summer. Although I don't have Alltel or Verizon, I am still glad that there is some competition in my area. I was shocked to read the article at first, then after reading it I called the City Hall and asked verified that it was Verizon (Alltel).

    :)

    Best Regards,
    Alien.
