i have customers that are suprised we dont have a activation fee for a 2yr, like one other guy said, alot of companys do charge for a 2yr act fee.

it really is no big deal, im so beat down with quotas to make one more thing isnt going to make a difference.....

Two years is an eternity if you are an impatient gearhead with money to waste. Teh vast majority of people just want to be able to make phone calls when they need to.

I am sure in some markets this 10$ on 2 year contracts will not hurt sales at all. some markets might not grow as fast due it. I don't see it as a big hit myself. I still think it is not a good idea though. :badidea: :headscrat

Why are the two-year plans a ripoff?

    I must be ignorant.

I would (today!!!!) sign a 10 year contract with VZW, with a penalty fee of $5000.00!!! upon my early withdrawal.....if they would guarantee me (for the next 10 years) 600 minutes a month, at 39.99 per month!

And I will buy my own phones, (at no cost to VZW) for the next ten years!

    Dan

    P.S.

I've had a Motorola v60c since 09/05/01 and it works like the day it was new.
